This years Annual Training Conference is over and it is hard to believe close to a years work has come to an end. We want to thank the LPD SWAT and LPSO SRT for all of their dedication to making this conference a complete success. Everyone, at the time of this posting, will hopefully be home reflecting on what they have been exposed to this week and use that to make them a better and safer SWAT officer. Some are still here for their last day of training.
We want to thank all of our vendors who were great again this year in their support of our conference.
We want to thank our instructors who came form all over to share a little bit of their vast knowledge of SWAT tactics and Special Operations. We were honored to have them as our instructors, peers to us all and men that have set standards we all attempt to come close too. Looking around the banquet room last night (which Crowne Plaza did and excellant job on) we were truly in the presence of living legends. Men, we appreciate you and we hope our generattion will do you proud.
Next year, the conference will be hosted by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office in Monroe, LA. Please check back for more information.
